Album releases

There’s something bittersweet about wrapping up a project. So much time and attention is invested in each one.

Three of my latest projects are part of Rawlco’s Project 10K20 Saskatchewan. These lovely ladies, each talented and unique, are set to release their albums very soon.

Melissa Mannett is set to unleash Heroine on the world Tuesday, March 6th. Look for the first single Hero available on iTunes. This is more of the Melissa you love with a few treats.

Laura Roddick’s soulful and funky vibe is showcased for your listening pleasure on her album Soar set to release very soon. Some uber talented players showed up to be a part of this one. Always a treat.

Kerri Senkow is wrapping up in the studio over the next few weeks. Showcasing her song writing skills she brings yet another unique voice into the studio. The CD release party date is set in early May for this 8 song album to make its debut.

Thanks ladies for inviting me to be a part of your projects.

2011 wrap up

2011 marked yet another busy year not only in the studio but staying active in the live playing scene.

It was a great summer of playing with artists Faster Gun, Chris Henderson, Jess Moskaluke , Amanda Jane Duncan , Kal Hourd , Darlene Tuleta , Blake Berglund , Third Degree Burnz…
Some highlights have been Craven Country Jamboree with Faster Gun, winning 92.7 Big Dog’s Next Big Thing w/Jess Moskaluke (and with Chris Henderson the previous year). Opening up for Dierks Bently w/Jess at the Queen City Ex.

I’m fortunate to play with such great artist and good friends.

nothing ventured…nothing gained…

Nothing ventured…nothing gained…well the saying isn’t new but this blog is.

For those used to following Brad on Facebook and Twitter you’ll know studio news comes in fits and spurts. But with studio renos nearing completion it seemed appropriate to renovate the website/blog too. Consider yourself a fly on the wall from now on. Find out who’s coming in and what’s coming out of one of Saskatchewan’s busiest studios. Artists you already love, and those looking to earn it, all come though these doors.

No excuses not to follow! Seriously, I feel like we’ve spewed social media all over this page. Follow all y’all like on Facebook, Twitter, Reverbnation, and YouTube. For those who don’t like to follow (but prefer a more in your face approach) why not subscribe to the RSS feeds where we’ll push studio news updates and blog posts right to you on your mobile.

Feedback on the blog is welcome. More or less. More and less. Otherwise enjoy!
